I lost control of my drone due to a software bug related to the "Follow Me" mode in the Ophelia GO app. It crashed hard on one of the arms and snapped where it meets the body. I contacted support and they were extremely helpful and offered to send a new drone. In the meantime, I attempted to recreate the drone arm as best I could and this is the result.

I only did a 20 minute test flight after assembly, but it seems to be working about as well as you could hope. I did notice the drone wasn't as stable in the air as it was with the stock arm, but I didn't have time to explore that issue. Regardless, it's an inexpensive way to get your drone back in the air.

The hardest part was disassembling the drone, but Holy Stone has a great video showing how to replace the arm with an OEM part: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfResU9sE64

Follow those steps to disassemble. You'll likely need to clip the wires in the arm to get the motor out of the broken arm. Just solder them back together after it's assembled (I used these handy [heat shrink solder connectors](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ILSEF76/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_x_yQXCFbRW1Q1C3))

I opted to remove the LED status board that goes in the arm, but there's mounting holes and enough space for it if you decide to keep it. If you don't use the board, make sure you clip off the ends of the bare wires on those 3 wires so as not to cause a short.
